How To Apply

Our application has 3 parts--an online component(with three mandatory sections), a component that must be submitted to us in paper and an entrance exam.


Please ensure that all sections of the application are completed by the deadline as late applications will not be accepted and please be available to write our entrance exam on the date below.

 

1.  Online Application(ensure you complete all parts by following the links below--due no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, December 16, 2016)


Please have all the information you require at hand before completing these forms as once they are submitted, you will not be able to edit or re-submit them.  For the student essay, we recommend typing them in Word or Google Docs, editing them and when finalised, copying and pasting them into the Student Essay form for submission.

2.  Paper Application(due at Danforth no later than 4:00pm on Friday, December 16, 2016)

 

Please submit the following to our Guidance Office:

A stamped, self-addressed envelope with the student’s name as it appears on their report card

A copy of your final Grade 7 report card

Optional Attendance Form for MaST (required)*

Optional Attendance Form for DCTI (encouraged if DCTI is not home school)*

 *This form is available from your grade 8 school and must be signed by the Grade 8 Principal.

3.  Entrance Exam

Will be written at Danforth CTI on Saturday, January 21, 2017(9:45am to 11:30am).  There is only one sitting for this exam, no exceptions.  If you have a legitimate reason for your absence and still want to be considered for the MaST program, you must email Bryan Wires( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
