The Entrance Exam will be written at Danforth CTI on Saturday, January 20, 2018(9:45am to 11:30am).  There is only one sitting for this exam, no exceptions.  If you have a legitimate reason for your absence and still want to be considered for the MaST program, you must email Bryan Wires( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) with your name and your reason for missing the exam.

The exams are based on the Grades 7 and 8 curriculum.  We understand that you may not have covered all units of science and math by the time of the MaST Entrance Exam--please do not worry, all applicants are in the same situation.  There is no need to prepare or study as we will be testing prior knowledge, but we strongly recommend students get a good rest before they write the test.  Both tests are Multiple Choice.

Please take note of the following:

  1. All students that submitted a complete application are to write the test on January 20th, 2018.
  2. Students are to come to Danforth CTI at 9:45 (no earlier) to write the test.
  3. The test is in two parts of 45 minute each (Part #1 Math and Part #2 Science).
  4. The test is all multiple choice.
  5. Calculators are permitted.
  6. Hardcopy dictionnaries are permitted(including French/English or any language/English)
