Danforth’s vibrant Arts department provides students with hands on experience as well

as exploration of the theoretical aspects of Fine Art.  M.a.S.T. students have the option of

selecting Drama, Music or Visual Arts in their Grade 9 year. 

     Courses are offered at the Open and University levels from Grade 9 through to Grade 12 and

     include many special focus courses that make use of professional level studio and performance

     facilities. The Arts at Danforth are taught in a context of strong academic courses, technical

     programs and a variety of experiential and extra curricular activities. 

    The Arts staff are experienced teachers with professional backgrounds in the Arts . Each teacher

     brings his or her specialty to the curriculum, creating a rich and dynamic learning environment.
